Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

Vocorx ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our answering and reception service, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

01

Information we collect

  • Account details: your business name, contact email, secure username, and password you provide when you set up your route.
  • Call recordings & transcripts: with your consent, we record and transcribe calls handled by your Vocorx line so we can produce summaries and an interaction history.
  • Caller information: details callers share during a conversation, such as names, contact numbers, and enquiry intent.
  • Usage data: basic logs of logins and feature usage used to keep the service secure and reliable.
02

How we use your information

  • To answer and summarise calls on your behalf and deliver notifications to you.
  • To maintain your secure dashboard, scripts, and availability settings.
  • To improve the accuracy of transcriptions and the helpfulness of summaries.
  • To communicate with you about your account, billing, and service updates.
03

Sharing your information

We do not sell your data. We share information only with vetted service providers who help us operate Vocorx (such as telephony, transcription, and hosting partners), and only to the extent needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information if required by South African law.

04

Data retention & security

Call recordings and transcripts are stored for the period you remain a customer and can be deleted on request. Your route is protected by your username and password, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

05

Your rights

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your information.
  • Withdraw consent for call recording at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@vocorx.com.
